How To Create WhatsApp Templates

In CRM, a WhatsApp template refers to a pre-approved message format that can be used to send automated or manual messages to customers via the WhatsApp Business API. These templates are designed to comply with WhatsApp's guidelines and policies and typically include placeholders for dynamic variables to personalize messages. Using WhatsApp templates in CRM allows businesses to streamline communication processes and ensure consistency in messaging while adhering to WhatsApp's regulations.


STEP 1


1. Go to ā€˜Settings’

2. Click ā€˜WhatsApp’

3. Click ā€˜Templates’

4. Click ā€˜Create Template’

Create Template and Add your Message Template


STEP 2


1.Enter your ā€˜Template Name’

2.Select ā€˜Category’ option for your template.

3.Select the ā€˜Language’ option for your template.

4.Choose Header type from ā€˜Text, Image, Video, Document or Location’


5.Enter the Header Text of your message


6.Enter the Body Text of your message


7.Add Variable Name - Eg. {{contact.name}}


Variables in WhatsApp templates refer to placeholders within a template message that can be dynamically replaced with specific information when the message is sent to a recipient. These variables allow for personalization and customization of messages based on recipient data, such as their name, order details, or appointment time. Using variables enhances the relevance and effectiveness of template messages sent via the WhatsApp Business API.

Add the Variable


Select the Variable Tag You Want


Eg - Select Contact - Select ā€˜Full Name’

8.Enter the Footer Text of your message. Add a short line of text to the bottom of your message template.




9.Then Click ā€˜Create’ Template
